The deadly coronavirus has affected many lives physically as well as economically. The expansion of the virus has forced everyone to lock themselves behind the doors. Amid all these crises, 27 Bangladesh cricketers have decided to donate their half-month salary to their country’s fund to help the COVID-19 affected people.
As of now, more than 4,00,000 people have been tested positive worldwide while more than 19,000 have died because of this deadly virus. With numbers not stopping, it eventually increases at a rapid rate. As all the big firms and businesses have been shut down, the economy is slowing down worldwide.
Bangladesh cricketers gathering praise for their support:
As if now, in Bangladesh, 39 cases have been reported while five have died but the virus has already expanded. Thus, to support the needy, twenty-seven Bangladesh cricketers have come in front to donate half of their monthly salary to Bangladesh government funds.

This generous initiative by players is being praised all over the internet.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan earlier this month was called off because of the outbreak of the virus. The matches have also been postponed until further notice.
Among all this, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has already been suspended till April 15. The tournament could be cancelled altogether if the situation doesn’t get better in India. But now a fresh report from the International Cricket Council (ICC) reveals that the Test Championship final which was due to be hosted next year could also be rescheduled or cancelled.
The final of the marquee clash was scheduled in June 2021 at Lord’s but because of the delay of matches, the competition might get postponed.
