WWE Raw came up with a loaded card last night. Initial storyline angles for Crown Jewel and Evolution PPV event started on the show. Numerous legends attended this edition to make it a must-watch for the fans. Names like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Trish Stratus were on the card. Let’s get straight to the results from the show hosted by the All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
Triple H’s music hit the arena to kick things off on WWE Raw. He was not in his corporate avatar. Shawn Michaels followed him to let know that 25 years of respect is no more there for The Undertaker. A video package aired to let know how the Brothers of Destruction attacked former DX members. So at the Crown Jewel PPV event, DX will be ready. The duo then did the iconic DX pose to end the opening segment.


Thursday January 01, 1970

The opening match of WWE Raw took place between Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley. Lashley immediately hit a clothesline to take control of the match. But the Chicago crowd cheered on Kevin Owens allowing him to hit a senton. He also sent Lashley into the barricade. But Lashley came back valiantly and hit an over the shoulder slam for the win. After the match, he attacked Kevin Owens to turn into a heel persona.


Thursday January 01, 1970

Elias was strumming his guitar and blasting the crowd verbally when Ronda Rousey interrupted. She teamed up with the Bella Twins to feature in a rematch against the Riott Squad. Ronda finished the matchup with her pendant armbar move. The Bella Twins turned on her soon by attacking from the back. Rousey tried to fight back with judo throws but the number game caught up. Nikki Bella posed with the championship before leaving.

A battle royal took place to decide one of the participants of the WWE world cup tournament. Baron Corbin gave a long lecture about he is going to win the over the top rope match and solidify his spot. One of the jobbers named The Conquistador eliminated Corbin from the match. He danced around before taking off the mask. It turned out to be Kurt Angle who received big cheers from the Raw crowd. Kurt Angle and John Cena are the first two names to participate at the World Cup tournament at Crown Jewel.

Finn Balor and Bayley squared off in a rematch against Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal. Bayley took care of Foxy outside the ring allowing Balor to give a kick to the head of Mahal. He connected with the Coup De Grace for the win. Ember Moon featured in a match with Nia Jax. Jax accidentally hit the LED apron to never make it back to the ring. This earned Moon a count-out win. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable defeated The Ascension in a tag team match before getting the victim of AOP. Akam and Razor beat the hell out of the four men leaving a bold statement.

Trish Stratus made an appearance on WWE Raw talking about the dig taken by Alexa Bliss, last week. The Goddess came out to add insult to injuries saying if she was there during Trish’s time, then she would never be a legend. Mickie James came out to support her buddy, Alexa Bliss, too. Trish went to call out a friend of her own in the form of Lita. The four women engaged in a physical brawl, thereafter. Lita and Trish stood tall by shoving off Bliss and Mickie from the ring.

The main event of WWE Raw took place between The Shield and The Dogs of War. Paul Heyman had a ringside view during this contest. After a back and forth going throughout, the Shield was in full control when Ambrose hit a DDT on Strowman allowing Reigns to hit a big spear on him. Rollins neutralized Ziggler with a clothesline. But McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick out of nowhere on Ambrose to get the win. After the match, Dean Ambrose walked off leaving Reigns and Rollins inside the ring to end the show.
